From October 20th to 22nd, the regional government organized the Science and Technology Week in the cities of Murcia and Cartagena. During this event, a total of 375 activities took place, including scientific demonstrations, workshops, live experiments, exhibitions, and contests, among others, which were open for the public to participate in.
CETEM, Technology Centre of Furniture and Wood of the Region of Murcia, focusing on the latest advances in the circular economy within the furniture sector. They showcased various projects, such as Quitosan, that incorporate biotechnology and chemical processes to upcycle agrifood waste and develop new eco-friendly materials for wood panel finishes, among other innovations.
Furthermore, the exhibition featured key projects related to the circular transition, such as the TwinRevolution project, where visitors had the opportunity to learn about and understand the concept of the twin green and digital transition. This event served as a great opportunity to enhance general knowledge and promote the future TwinRevolution training course and its associated interactive tools.
