On June 26th, 2024, CETEM in Spain hosted the TwinRevolution Multiplier Event, which brought together workers from SMEs in the furniture sector, textile workers, VET teachers, and representatives from R&D centers. This event was a key part of the TwinRevolution project, aimed at helping industries navigate the digital and green transitions through innovative vocational education and training (VET) resources.
The event focused on introducing the TwinRevolution project, showcasing its results, and presenting tools such as an interactive platform and a free online training course. The workshop also highlighted the need for the furniture industry to adapt to these transitions and emphasized the importance of upskilling the workforce with green and digital skills.
The day started with presentations on the project’s background and the work of the consortium, followed by detailed discussions on the educational materials and the e-learning platform. Particular attention was given to the interactive tool and the e-training course, explaining their development and potential impact on the industry.
Throughout the event, participants were actively engaged, with a Q&A session following the presentations, allowing them to ask questions and clarify any doubts. A networking session provided an opportunity for attendees to exchange ideas and build connections.
At the conclusion of the event, participants completed a satisfaction survey, which indicated high levels of satisfaction. The content’s clarity and relevance were particularly well-received, and the interactive tool and e-learning platform were praised for their usefulness and effectiveness.
