TwinRevolution Multiplier Event in Finland

On May 7th, 2024, the University of Vaasa in Finland hosted the TwinRevolution Multiplier Event, bringing together researchers, industry experts, and students to share the exciting results of the TwinRevolution project. This project focuses on helping the manufacturing and traditional industries embrace digital and green changes through innovative vocational education and training (VET) resources.

The event was designed to introduce the TwinRevolution project, showcase its achievements, and present the tools developed, such as an interactive platform and a free online training course. Participants were given a detailed overview of the project’s goals and the ways in which academic institutions can support these important transitions.

The event kicked off with presentations about the project’s background and the work done by the consortium. This was followed by discussions on the educational content, the e-learning platform, and the interactive tools that are central to the project. Attendees were encouraged to engage throughout the event, and a Q&A session allowed them to ask questions and get more information.

To gather feedback, an online satisfaction survey was conducted, with participants able to access it easily via a QR code. The results were very positive: 81.3% of respondents found the presentations clear, 87.5% rated the e-learning platform highly, and 100% appreciated the interactive tool. Additionally, 93.8% of participants found the information useful for their work or future collaborations.

The TwinRevolution event in Finland was a big success, meeting all its goals and receiving great feedback from those who attended. It highlighted the important role that universities and educational institutions play in helping industries adapt to digital and green changes. The tools developed by TwinRevolution are proving to be effective in supporting these transitions, and the event showed just how valuable collaboration is in driving innovation and sustainable development in the industry.
