TwinRevolution Project advances towards green and digital manufacturing with innovative training tools

The partners of the TwinRevolution project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ program, held their third meeting in September 2023 at the Testing Textile Institute (TZU) facilities in Brno, Czech Republic. The purpose of the meeting was to review the progress of the training course, define the objectives of the interactive tool, and establish additional tasks.

Over the past few months, the project partners have been diligently working on the development of high-quality training materials tailored to the furniture and textile manufacturing sectors. The meeting provided an opportunity to review all the materials and plan the creation of interactive supporting materials, such as videos, infographics, quizzes, etc., designed to enhance the appeal of the training course.

Furthermore, all partners collectively defined the future TwinRevolution interactive tool—an innovative resource that will showcase the best strategies for a twin transition towards green and digital practices across various manufacturing stages.

During the meeting, all partners had the opportunity to discuss the TwinRevolution Joint Curriculum, a fundamental component of the upcoming training course. They identified the different training modules and units required to cover the learning outcomes outlined in the previously drafted blueprint. Key aspects, including the development of training materials and assessment methods, were also thoroughly discussed.

Thanks to the TwinRevolution project, it is anticipated that both current and future workers in the manufacturing industries will gain access to a new training platform and an advanced interactive tool, empowering them to update their knowledge and remain at the forefront of the so-called double transition—digital and green.

The TwinRevolution training course and interactive tool are expected to be ready by the beginning of 2024. Stay tuned for more information and subscribe to our newsletter for updates.
