The 61st edition of the Yecla Furniture Fair, Spain’s oldest furniture fair, took place in May 2023. CETEM, the Spanish furniture technology center, participated by showcasing their stand dedicated to the metaverse and its potential applications in the habitat sector. They provided an immersive experience for attendees, allowing them to interact with virtual objects and real furniture products, creating a unique and engaging experience.
During the four days, the “CETEM projects area” presented the TwinRevolution project with the exhibition of a video that presents the most important aspects of the future training, to create awareness on the importance of be ready for the twin digital and green transition in manufacturing industries. Moreover, project leaflets were available for any interested, as well as personalized information provided by its technicians.
María Gonzalez Veracruz, the State Secretariat for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructures, paid a visit to CETEM’s stand to personally witness the latest technological trends in the habitat sector, in addition to the numerous professional visits. During her time at the stand, the aim of various European projects undertaken by CETEM was explained, with special emphasis on the TwinRevolution project, which represents a strong dedication to enhancing innovation in the habitat sector through knowledge advancement.
